Albion SC PROS Edge SoCal SC in Pomona

Albion opened the scoring in the 35th minute when Polish defender Jakub Waligorski converted a penalty kick. Brazilian forward Luan Oliveira then found the back of the net for the visiting side in the final minute of the first half.

They have suffered some tough road losses but with their consistent work ethic and due diligence they have put forth a good result,” said Gins. “Expect this to be the turning point of the season for the team to go on a run.”
The ability of the PROS to transition up and down the pitch proved vital as they recorded a much need three points.
“I’m proud of the effort on both sides of the ball — a number of guys stepped up,” said Ziggy Korytoski, Albion SC PROS head coach.
“Kyle Jackson had an excellent game in goal. We felt we were in control for much of the match and were unfortunate not to go 3-0 up,”said Korytoski. “I feel that we are beginning to hit our stride, which is important with the U.S. Open Cup around the corner.”
Albion PROS returns home this weekend as they prepare to host City of Angels FC on Saturday, May 6th, at Mission Bay Stadium. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. PT.
Albion PROS now sits in the Southwest Conference with 9 points after three wins and four losses during the 2017 National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) campaign.
